The state champion white oak located on the Ancient Oak farm off West street in Millfield. Reputed to be around 600 years old with a 9 foot diameter trunk and 120 foot crown spread.
Somehow it has survived all these years as civilization has grown up around it. At present it resides in a small island of benign neglect, some limbs dead but otherwise healthy.
