This part of Strouds Run State Park has escaped the "improvements" of surrounding Ohio by its sheer inaccessiblity. With luck it will even escape the "timber management" mandate of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources under recent legislation permitting the division of Parks to plunder state parks to balance the state budget.
